SIM In The Suburbs is excited to present Gary J. Matula, Chief Information Officer, Molex and Dave Johnson, Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Molex.
Gary and Dave are teaming up to discuss how the electronics industry has been impacted by the downturn across the global marketplace. And how the top 25 electronic companies have seen their revenues drop an average of 43% in Q4 of 2008 compared to the prior year. Gary and Dave will share their key lessons learned from their years in the global marketplace and how they continue to drive key systems and business initiatives during this period. They will share experiences with key transformation projects and how they leveraged their key strengths while establishing a global organization for future growth. Bottom line, how IT and Finance teamed up to drive a number of the transformation projects in order to maintain a position in the industry and drive future growth.
Gary is a graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Mathematics and Business Operations and a minor in Computer Science. Dave graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics and received his CPA certification in 1981.
