FLATFILEgalleries, (www.flatfilegalleries.com) which was founded in the spring of 2000 as FLATFILEphotographyGALLERY, has since expanded to include Contemporary Art, showing all artistic disciplines in one of the largest gallery spaces in Chicago. The work of the galleries' emerging and established artists hang side by side in 7 shows in each of two spaces throughout the year, with over 1,000 photographs and works on paper stored in 80 flat file drawers at all times. FLATFILEgalleries is the sole provider of art and photography to RALPH LAUREN HOME in Chicago's Merchandise Mart, and counts Exelon/ComEd, Labelmaster, and Burrell Advertising among its corporate clients.
Arts & Business Council of Chicago – Their mission is to link the strengths of arts and business by promoting community growth and vitality through the arts. It builds partnerships that enhance the management capacity of arts organizations while strengthening the leadership capacities of business professionals through effective volunteerism. Each year A&BC serves approximately 300 non-profit arts groups in metro-Chicago, by strengthening the business side of their operations through innovative and practical programs.
