As we live through an almost unprecedented economic crisis, we are also living through an extraordinary scientific age. On the one hand, we are witnessing unprecedented wealth destruction. On the other hand there are extraordinary opportunities to create the next great industries and power the global economy. Best-selling author and debt crisis expert Juan Enriquez discusses the impetuses of the current American economic meltdown – and the immediate actions the country and new U.S. President will have to take to address the situation. Combining information and ideas from many sources, Juan enumerates an urgent, non-partisan plan. Enriquez positions that failure to act – or, in his view, further misguided efforts – run the risk of triggering an irreversible economic collapse that could plague the American economy for decades. read more |

IT is more about people than about technology, and most IT problems come from misunderstandings between business and technology people. The session will focus on the critical aspects of IT management that business people need to understand. Most IT failures come from IT issues caused by various factors outside the control of the IT group - the things that tend to make IT unsuccessful no matter who the people are in the IT or business roles. CIO's fight these factors daily, but if you take them into account in your planning, then your business IT will become wildly successful. We encourage you to invite your CEO or another C-level executive to join you. Click Here to Download Harwell Thrasher's Presentation read more |
