Abstract:
Risk governance describes a framework that influences how an organization communicates, understands, and responds to the key risks facing the organization. Risk response and decisions about the acceptable level of risk to accept as opportunities are pursued is established by the board and the CEO. The CIO and other business leaders must operate within these boundaries to achieve desirable outcomes for the company. This presentation creates an opportunity for participants to engage in a collaborative discussion about the impact of risk governance on enterprise risk management, board engagement, and digital transformation.

About our Speaker:
Keyaan J Williams is a risk governance leader who has successfully deployed enterprise risk, cybersecurity, and data privacy programs for more than two decades. After leading cybersecurity initiatives at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), he started a global firm focused on executive education, enterprise risk consulting, and strategic planning. Keyaan actively serves as a board member for commercial and non-profit companies. He also serves as a mentor and advisor for board directors and early-stage entrepreneurs.
