Prioritizing Mental Health and Well-Being in Challenging Times The COVID-19 vaccine has provided a very welcomed light at the end of a long tunnel. Still however, many of our employees are coming to grips with the widespread impact of this disease and other societal issues as well. Many employees are struggling with uncertainty and worrying about the future. Their mental and physical health not only effects them but has a direct impact on the quality of their work and their engagement with their jobs – which also has a direct impact on the company’s health. As leaders, now is he time to understand and meet their needs with empathy, generosity, and flexibility.
Please join SIM Chicago as we present Dr. Karen O’Keeffe for a very important discussion.
Dr. O'Keeffe is a licensed clinical psychologist. She has over 15 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including large nonprofit organizations, inpatient hospitals, structured day treatment centers, outpatient clinics and private practice. She founded Connect Psychological Services 5 years ago where she serves individuals and consults with groups to improve their lives, organizations, and communities. Dr. O’Keeffe is committed to improving the mental health and emotional wellness of those she serves though practical conversations and experiences.
